1. What exactly is the activity planned ? is it a trip or a race or…?
The Gammon Cup is a Combined Race (meaning all type of sailing yachts) from Mumbai to Mandwa (Leg 1) and from Mandwa to Mumbai (Leg 2).

2. What are the timelines ?
The start is at about 3 pm and One has to reach Mandwa within half an hour of the 1st boat reaching there.

3. If it involves an overnight stay – i understand you would be staying at the bombay sailing association guest house? what would be the charges and what would it include ?
There is a charge for Boat utilisation. On advance booking, the Club will provide you dinner and breakfast. The stay would be at the premises of the Bombay Sailing Assocation. either a room…or a sleep out.

4. Do you have an upper limit to the number of people who can join this ?
Not normally…but members get priority over guests…A member can bring along a max of 3-4 guests

We are 5 people who are interested but do not have any experience in sailing – is it possible to come for this ?
